It’s time for another writing update. At the moment, I’m taking part in Camp Nano with my project “Murder and Pumpkin Spice” the second installment of my gay crime series. It’s going well, and I’m approaching 20k words already. It feels good to write about the characters again that I’ve already come to love. That’s one of the advantages of writing a series, I guess.
I had to pause the editing of “A Tale of Runes and Ravens”, my Fantasy novel for that, but I’m halfway through. After that, I’m going to send Runes out to beta readers. I’m hoping I’ll be able to start writing part two by the end of the year.
I also started another crime novel because the idea got stuck in my head, and I had to get it out. It has about 10k words now, and I’m going to continue writing it after Nano April. It’s in German, and I would like it to be a little darker than most of my other projects. It’s called “Dunkles Flüstern” (“Dark Whispers” in English) and is about Lukas, a young man who works as a private detective in Berlin. When a young girl goes missing from his home village, and a close friend becomes a suspect, he goes back to the place connected with many bad memories. Ten years ago, another young girl went missing and was found dead, and Lukas was one of the suspects back then. The killer was never discovered.
I’m excited about that project and am looking forward to continuing it.
I’ve also written another chapter for my fanfiction “Horny Hearts”. And I’ve written fanfiction for my friend Kaja’s RPG character Qedin because I’m such a fan of him. This month I’ve started another Kylux fanfiction called “Nemesis” that takes place after the events of the movies. (Yes, in my version they’re still alive. Otherwise, it wouldn’t make much sense writing it :D).
